Sunday was a sad day for our football club, with relegation from the Premier League confirmed. But although some players and staff may go, there is always one constant with Burnley Football Club – our fans. Premier League, Championship or National League, our fans will always be there, always following in their thousands.
Whilst we were preparing for the recent Clarets Trust relaunch, we undertook a project at Crystal Palace, capturing the away day clarets on 35mm film. In the light of relegation, we felt it was the perfect time to remind everybody that no matter the league, no matter the result, we will always see the same faces travelling up and down the country following Burnley.
“Good times pass away, but then so do the bad. Mutability is our tragedy, but it’s also our hope. The worst of times, like the best, are always passing away.” See you next season, clarets.
