The Clarets Trust thanks all five Directors of the Club who have stood down from the Club Board following their takeover.
Their sound management of the Club over recent years have secured the Club’s place in the Premier League and ensured its financial stability.
Particular thanks are due to Barry Kilby who took over as Chair from Frank Teasdale at a difficult time for the Club. He played a key part in the revival of the Club and at the same time built a strong relationship with the Club’s supporters.
Clive Holt played a long role in the Club and was the longest serving Director and fought hard for the Club during the difficult years as well as the good years.
Brendan Flood’s investment in the Club was made at time when the base for success again at Turf Moor was being built.
All five Directors now standing down were life long clarets – the changes clearly do mark the end of an era.
Thanks to them all and all the best for their future.
