The Petitions Committee is a group of MPs who look at petitions submitted on Parliament’s petitions website and public (paper) petitions and can look into the issues they raise through debates and inquiries.
The Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee looks at and questions how the Government Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport:
· is run
· spends money
· decides on its policies
Like the Petitions Committee, it’s a cross-party committee and is independent of the Government.
The Petitions Committee in the House of Commons want to find out more about your views. We will also share what you tell us with the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee who are investigating the future of community sport, including football clubs.
We won’t ask for any personal details, but any information you share with us might be used by the Committees in their work, in the press or online. Sometimes thousands of people watch debates and Committee meetings or read the reports, and the things that MPs say might be reported in the press.
