As we start the New Year with a great game against Liverpool, the Clarets Trust wishes all members, other Clarets supporters and everyone at the Football Club, a very Happy New Year. This season has seen the Clarets in fine form and reaching a level in the table not seen for over 40 years – something we all want to see continue.
During 2017 we have seen major investment by the Club in providing first class training facilities at Gawthorpe (Barnfield). The New Year will see an early planning application for two new stands for the disabled – followed by the building work necessary to meet the target of the start of the next season for much improved areas for the wheelchair disabled. This is something the Club have been committed to provide for a long time and for which the Trust have lobbied long and hard. It is a major and expensive investment by the Club but is something we will all welcome.
Let us hope we get a good start to the New Year with three points against Liverpool!
