The Clarets Trust is sorry to hear of the death at 72 of Peter Noble.
He was a key Clarets player during the period 1973 to 1980. Signed from Swindon, Peter went on to be captain of Burnley. He also returned to Burnley after his retirement from football to run his sports shop in the Market Hall. A popular and class player he was one of the Clarets legends of that era.
Sincere sympathy and condolences to all his family.
