For understandable reasons the normal programme will not be issued on Saturday – it will be a special celebration edition. The following, our planned article, will not appear so is printed here instead:
EXCITING FINISH AND PROMOTION TO THE PREMIER
Well we now come to the final home game of what has been a great season for the Clarets – and what an exciting finish it has proved to be. Last August few of us would have expected such a great season which has been a great credit to Sean Dyche and all the players. We have had some outstanding players but overall it has been a great team effort – underlined by eight players fighting to be the Clarets Trust Player of the Year.
Well done Sean and all the lads – let us roar the lads on to celebrate our automatic promotion today. It was really good to beat Blackpool and then secure promotion by beating Wigan at home.
A promotion secured on the back of a brilliant season and won on merit, and not, in the end needing to win in the final games – nor needing to depend on Derby losing! Two brilliant goals beating Wigan underlined what a season we have had. So the Ipswich game we can just relax and enjoy them and perhaps more points would be icing on the cake.

Our election for Board Members is now due – the closing date for nominations is Noon on 24th May. There are three clear vacancies why not stand and help to take YOUR Trust forward?

The Trust AGM will be held on 14th June – you can join on the day if you wish.
The meeting will start at 1pm and will be at the Crown Hotel (formerly Keirby) which is a Hall of Residence for UCFB.
There will be a guest speaker – all members are welcome. Members will be receiving more details.
